Solution for Tesla Model 3 Burglary Break-in Problems
Tesla owners are usually wealthy and wealthy people get their wealth from their talent or attitude of supplying a demand. Nick Christensen which decided to create a lock for the rear seat latch and with a 3D Printer!
After my friend’s Model 3 was broken into, as many others on here were, I decided to design and 3D print a lock for the rear seat latch. The idea is to deter thieves from breaking the window in the first place if there is a highly visible lock in-place.
I’m always working to improve the design, but after one more small tweak I’ll be uploading the STL file to Thingiverse. If you don’t have a 3D printer and want a set, feel free to send me a message.
Note: It looks difficult to install in the video, but it’s actually quite easy – I just struggled to do it one-handed because I was holding my phone with the other hand.
